Hotel Slim Guarapuava

A great option for those who are at work. Good size room, good workstation (with good sockets and space). Air conditioning that does not come directly over the bed, making New Year's Eve very pleasant. I admit that the hot and cold water controls in the shower and tap could be better regulated to avoid wasting water until you find the right temperature for a shower. Free dinner buffet (R$59.90 in January 2024) has a good option of salads and meats and pastas (vegetarians may miss more options) all with great preparation and flavor. This option is not available on Fridays and weekends. The à la carte dishes are okay (maybe 1/3 bigger porks would make me more satisfied). Honest breakfast but without any “wow” factor. Replacements are at least made constantly. Free parking and very easy access. Average Wi-Fi, but with a weaker signal on the top floors of the hotel (tested). Great location. Both to the city center and to the main highway that cuts through the city. It will be my reference hotel for future business visits to the city. Oh, I couldn't forget to mention the receptionist Tainá. Patient, quick and uncomplicated.

A good hotel, clean rooms, complete bathrooms and shower with gas-heated water. The only point is undoubtedly the coffee. Unfortunately the sweets didn't have any flavor. It's hard to imagine that the hotel kitchen doesn't come up with some reasonable cake recipes. Confectionery is mathematics. Get the recipe and make it, there’s not much you can do wrong. I'm not talking about making wonderful cakes. There are many dry cakes (English, orange) that are tasty and cheap to make. But there wasn't even one.
